Learn Arduino and electronics using TV-B-Gone as an example project

You've probably heard lots about Arduino. But if you don't know what it is, or how you can use it to do all sorts of cool things, then this fun and easy workshop is for you. As an example project, we'll be creating a TV-B-Gone remote control out of an Arduino you can take home with you.

This workshop will give you the confidence to start making just about any electronic project you see on the internet! We cover all you need in this workshop.

Workshop Itinerary:
Intro to Arduino
Very short lesson to learn everything you need to know about electronics
Learn to solder (everyone can learn!)
Make an Arduino from a kit
How to set up the free and open-source Arduino software (Windows, Linux, and MacOS are all fine!)
How to program Arduinos
How to read schematic diagrams
Put together your own TV-B-Gone remote control using your Arduino clone board using a solderless breadboard
* Target practice is available all over the world after the workshop.

Materials cost:
The workshop is free, but if you would like to partake in the hands-on aspects of the workshop, Mitch will have materials for €40.

Optional: Bring your laptop if you want to go home with the free Arduino software installed on it.
Arduino software runs on Windows, MacOS and Linux (any version is fine):
